Plaza Home Mortgage Supports Susan G. Komen in its Fight against Breast Cancer

October is breast cancer awareness month, and also marks Plaza's month-long support of the Susan G. Komen organization, which provides funding for research for a cure for breast cancer, and mammograms and other support services for underserved women.
This is the fourth year in a row that Plaza is providing a donation to the organization based on October loan volume, in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Since our support began, we have provided nearly $250,000.
Last year, our donation was used to fund free mammograms for up to 1,000 uninsured and underinsured women. The women who received their mammograms got a full exam and consultation, along with any follow-up care that is required. This is literally a lifeline for many women.
We gratefully thank our clients for their business and ongoing support, which enables us to provide funding for an important cause like Susan G. Komen.
